Cashless is not a trend for clubs anymore. It is how groups split a bill at 11pm without someone running to an ATM. The operational win is speed and a cleaner till — if digital payments are tied to the same ticket as table time.
What to offer
- QR / wallet for the majority of walk-ins.
- Card where your bank and guests expect it.
- Cash for guests who still prefer it — counted, not guessed.
Do not orphan the payment
A QR code on a poster that is not linked to the open session creates “we paid, you didn’t mark it.” Checkout should happen on the bill: amount due, split, mark paid. That is a POS problem, not a sticker problem. See POS for pool halls.
Closing reconciliation
Every night: session totals vs. cash vs. digital. Gaps are either unclosed tables or unrecorded comps. CuePos billing keeps game charges and orders on one bill so the close is a list, not a debate.
